Coil spring holds jaw open. Drop forged, hardened, and tempered construction. Pliers halves are matched side-to-side, jaw-to-jaw, and hot riveted. Flush, diagonal cutting knives meet at the tip and meet at least 1 half of the knife length. Screw adjustment keeps knife edges from damaging each other. Precision machined, mating surfaces and design dimensions, to extremely close tolerances. 1/16" hollow-head adjustment screw.
